I went to a visual art party with my girlfriend Angela last weekend where a bunch of hipster looking kids in American Apparel V necks, tight jeans and bright colored t-shirts circled in the middle of the room, holding beers and cigarettes in hands. Their vision was fixed on some mysterious spot of the ceiling or the walls, as if they were already tired of the whole situation or that their blood alcohol level was so low that they couldn’t wait to go the after-party.
Well, the 07-08 year is finally coming to a close. It all happened too quickly for me, but hopefully we've all accomplished some of our goals?
Each Fall, the UW celebrates the new school year with its "Dawg Daze" week. It's a tradition geared towards welcoming the new class of students to campus, and to the University District with events, orientations, and community-building parties! This year Dawg Daze is from Sunday, September 21 through Saturday, September 27, 2008.
